Sellick Social

Privacy

This explains what Sellick Social keeps, what stays on your phone or computer, and what is sent to a social network when you choose to post.

Who is responsible

Sellick Web Co. provides Sellick Social. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to sellick-web-co@hotmail.com.

What stays on your device

The current app makes the preview, video and suggested words in your browser. Your business details, example captions, draft words, file names and story notes can be saved in that browser so you can return to them. Your original pictures and videos are not saved with those drafts and must be chosen again.

What we keep on our server

  • Essential trial and security records needed to sign you in and protect the app.
  • If you connect LinkedIn or TikTok: your social account identifier, display name, profile picture address, permissions and token expiry details. Access tokens are encrypted.
  • When you start a direct post or send a TikTok editing draft: the network, file size and type, progress, provider reference numbers and a one-way fingerprint of the approved caption. The delivery record also keeps the trial label, destination account, time, result and any useful failure reason. We do not save the readable caption in that posting record.
  • Basic technical and security information may be processed to keep the service reliable and prevent misuse.
  • If you allow optional statistics: a random browser number, a random event number, the Sellick product being viewed, the time, and whether there was an engaged visit.

Optional website statistics

Statistics stay off until you press Allow statistics. If you allow them, this browser receives a random number for no more than 30 days. We use it to estimate browser visits and page views separately for Sellick Web Co. Products and Sellick Social. One person using several browsers may count more than once, while people sharing a browser may count as one.

We do not store the page address, search or query details, referring website, raw IP address or a device fingerprint with these figures. Known bots are filtered where possible. Browsers that decline, browsers marked as staff or testing, and webdriver traffic send no statistics and are intentionally unobserved.

What happens to pictures and videos

Pictures and clips stay in your browser while you edit. If you choose direct posting or send an editable video to TikTok and press the final button, the finished MP4 is streamed through Sellick Social to the chosen social network. We do not deliberately keep a copy on our server. The chosen social network then handles the video under its own privacy policy.

Why we use this information

We use it to provide the trial, remember work on your device, connect the account you choose, send a post or editing draft only after your approval, protect the service, fix faults and meet legal duties. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Who receives it

LinkedIn or TikTok receives account and video information only when you connect that service or choose to send it. Hosting and security providers may process the minimum technical information needed to run Sellick Social. Instagram and Facebook sharing uses your phone's share tools unless a separate direct connection is added later.

Cookies and storage

Sellick Social uses essential cookies for trial sign-in and security. It also uses browser storage for the businesses and drafts you ask it to remember. If you allow optional statistics, a separate preference and random browser number are saved in this browser. The current version does not use advertising cookies.

How long information is kept

Browser-saved work stays on that device until you remove it or clear the browser. Social connection and posting records are tied to the trial session and are removed when that session is ended, revoked or cleared by routine expiry checks. Short-lived sign-in requests expire automatically. The optional statistics browser number lasts no more than 30 days, and the matching event records are routinely removed after 31 days.

Your choices and rights

You can edit a caption before posting, disconnect a social account, end the trial, remove saved work from the device, or ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold. The Statistics settings button lets you withdraw permission at any time and removes the saved statistics browser number from that browser. See the data deletion page for simple steps.

Changes

If the way Sellick Social handles information changes, this page and its date will be updated before the new use begins where required.
